# Show the work an engineering client receives

An engineering service is easier to discuss when clients can picture what they send and what they receive. Follow one project example through the work, rather than trying to fit every discipline into a short film.

## Make the starting material and output visible

Use a fictional example with neutral plans or sample data. Show intake, technical work, questions, and a representative deliverable. Distinguish what the client supplies from what the firm develops. Label the output as an illustration rather than presenting it as completed client work or a verified technical conclusion.

## Prepare the technical material

Bring the service process, anonymized work examples and a reviewed script.

Mark schematic views clearly and have a technical specialist check the details. Then ask someone from the intended audience whether the explanation makes sense.

## Use it in the technical conversation

Use it beside the service description. Ask what a client supplies at the start and what they receive at the end. If either answer is vague, show that material more clearly. The example prepares a conversation without anticipating the technical conclusions of a real engineering project.
