Make the homepage and its video tell the same story
Review the film inside the page layout, with attention to the headline, next step and readability on small screens.

A homepage and its video should help visitors understand the same offer. For a web or branding studio, that means planning the film alongside the page. A separate story can leave people wondering which message to follow.

Review the film in the page
Use a hypothetical homepage with one complex service. Match the opening to the page headline, explain the service through a concrete scene, and close with the same next step the page supports. Review the storyboard for silent viewing and small-screen readability. The important action should not depend on a tiny interface detail or a spoken sentence alone.
What the production team needs
Use the client's agreed message, design system and page layout. Identify who will review the film for the client.
Agree who gathers the client’s feedback and which versions and formats are included. Give each version a clear name so changes are easy to follow.

Review it where people will see it
Watch the draft inside the page, including on a phone. Ask someone new to the business what it offers and what they'd do next. If their answers conflict with the surrounding copy, resolve the message first. Keep movement that helps explain a relationship or process.
