Show where responsibility changes in fulfillment

Follow a sample order's goods and information, including the point where another party takes over.

Capri Video · Updated · 1 min read

A fulfillment service moves goods and information between several parties. Follow one sample order to show how both travel, making clear what your team handles and where someone else takes over.

Track the order and the information

Use a fictional shipment with a consistent identifier. Show the actual service steps and distinguish data updates from physical handling. Mark the point where another party takes responsibility. Present additional services as separately agreed options rather than automatic parts of every shipment.

Prepare the technical material

Use the actual workflow, anonymized order screens, facility or transport diagrams and the agreed service description.

Mark schematic views clearly and have a technical specialist check the details. Then ask someone from the intended audience whether the explanation makes sense.

Use it in the technical conversation

Use it in sales and client onboarding. Ask what information the client supplies and where your service ends. If they expect final delivery when the agreement stops earlier, make that transfer clearer. Both sides should be able to discuss the same responsibilities before the work starts.
