Help homeowners understand a solar proposal
A labeled house illustration can explain system components, optional batteries and the stages of an installation.

Panels are easy to recognize. Inverters, batteries and the choices in a solar proposal often need more explanation. Start with what the proposed system includes, then show how your team plans and carries out the work.

Separate the system from the project
Begin with a labeled house illustration. Show a battery as optional when that is how the offer works, rather than quietly including it in every system. Move next to assessment, scope review, installation coordination, and customer handoff. Each stage should identify who provides information and who confirms the next step. Avoid turning a sample sequence into a promise about every project's timing.
What to bring to the brief
Use your system diagrams, proposal options, manufacturer images and monitoring screens as the starting material.
Check the example against the service you offer, including any separately agreed work. Review the sequence in simple sketches before choosing the final animation.

Where the video can help
Share it after consultations and before work begins. Ask viewers what's included and what still needs discussion. If they assume the battery or another optional component is standard, change the labels. The explanation doesn't need unsupported energy forecasts, savings figures or a promise that every home is suitable.
