Example: a mortgage broker’s seven steps, explained
Our Product Tour style example walks through the home buying process on the website of Lowcountry Home Loans, an independent mortgage brokerage in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina: selecting a lender in a conversation with a home loan expert, the loan options for a first-time buyer, a veteran and a self-employed buyer, then pre-qualification and the remaining steps to move-in.
Down payment, interest rate, principal, fixed-rate period: first-time buyers face a wall of terms. A mortgage explainer video puts them in order and shows the path from the first inquiry to closing.

Put the steps and terms in order
Show the steps with one example: set a budget, gather documents, compare offers, approval, closing. Explain two or three terms visually, such as how paying down principal changes the balance. Mark the figures as an example, not an offer.
What to bring to the brief
Your advisory process, a document checklist, a sample calculation and legally reviewed wording.
Rates, programs and requirements change. Leave out current terms and have every statement reviewed before publishing.

Where the video can help
Send it before the first meeting and place it beside the inquiry form. Ask prospects which documents they will bring. Which loan fits only becomes clear in personal advice.
