Help employers understand the recruitment process

Show how a role is discussed, when the employer gives feedback and how candidate introductions fit into the search.

Capri Video · Updated · 1 min read

An employer wants to know how the search will work and where their own team needs to get involved. Follow one open role from the first brief to candidate discussions. A candidate-facing introduction can have its own film.

Start with one open role

Start with a sample role and show how requirements are clarified. Identify the points where the employer reviews information or provides feedback. Use a neutral fictional profile when illustrating an introduction, and label it as an example. The sequence should lead to a next discussion rather than imply an automatic placement.

Prepare the example

Use your service model, recruitment stages and role descriptions approved for the example.

Have the responsible specialist review the words and pictures together. Even a check mark can imply a decision that has not been made.

Check it with someone new to the service

Share it before employer intake calls. Ask when the employer expects to give feedback and which requirements still need discussion. Those answers tell you whether the search is clear. Avoid invented candidate availability, placement rates or guaranteed timelines; explain how you'll work together to build a useful brief.
