Explain an API through one request and response
A simple system diagram can introduce the use case and guide readers to the technical documentation.

Developers need the documentation. Colleagues evaluating the product may first need to see where the API fits. Follow one supported request and response to give them that introduction without trying to replace an integration guide.

Draw the system boundaries
Use a neutral system diagram with explicit boundaries. Follow a sample request through supported processing and a documented response. Keep credentials fictional and clearly marked for demonstration. A brief error or exception path can be more informative than implying that every request always succeeds in the same way.
Prepare a consistent demo
Use current documentation, a working demo and confirmed interface details, with a technical reviewer for the example.
Use fictional demo data and record the screens and product version shown. Check who acts in each scene and what the screen actually confirms.

Try it before the next demo
Link the overview to the relevant documentation. Ask which system sends the request and what comes back. If viewers recall only connected logos, add the missing technical detail. The film should help them find the right reference material while leaving the interface contract and integration work to the documentation.
