How it works
- Open a video and select the clip you want to change.
- Choose a playback speed and preview the new duration.
- Adjust any text timing, then export and download.
A slower clip becomes longer; a faster clip becomes shorter. Split a video first if only one section needs a speed change. Check the position of text, subtitles and music after changing the timing.
Common questions
- Can I change the speed of only part of a video?
- Yes. Split the clip around that section, select the resulting piece and change its speed. The other clips keep their own speed settings.
- Which files can I use?
- Support depends on the codecs inside a file and your browser, not just its MP4, MOV or WebM extension. Unsupported files are rejected with an explanation. Sources can be up to 10 minutes long, with a pixel count up to 3840 × 2160 and no edge over 4096 pixels. Audio must be mono or stereo.
- What are the export limits?
- Open up to 8 files including music, totaling no more than 200 MiB. The edited sequence can be up to 2 minutes long. Video exports use 30 frames per second and 1280 × 720, 720 × 1280 or 720 × 720 pixels. MP4 and WebM availability depends on your browser’s codec support. Exports are limited to 100 MiB. Larger tasks can reach your device’s memory limits.
