Show what clients actually receive from consulting
A fictional process-map project can turn an abstract service description into a concrete example of the work and its output.

Consulting can be hard to picture when the offer is described only through methods and benefits. Show a recognizable problem, the work you do together and something the client receives. Use a clearly hypothetical example rather than inventing a success story.

Show a sample deliverable
Imagine a company with unclear handoffs between two teams. Show problem definition, a working session, analysis, and a sample process map. Explain where the client contributes information and makes decisions. The map is an example of an output, not evidence that a particular performance improvement has occurred.
Prepare the example
Bring examples of your methods and anonymized work, along with a clear description of what the service includes.
Have the responsible specialist review the words and pictures together. Even a check mark can imply a decision that has not been made.

Check it with someone new to the service
Put it on the relevant service page and ask what a viewer expects to receive. If they can only say “better results,” show the deliverable more clearly. Agree the specific objectives, evidence and implementation responsibilities in the project conversation, where they can be discussed in context.
