How it works
- Choose your PDF.
- Keep Number pages enabled and check the page margins.
- Create and download the numbered document.
Give a combined report a consistent page count
After merging documents, add one continuous sequence of page numbers. The numbers follow your final page order and appear at the bottom right. Check that this margin is clear before sharing a meeting handout or printed report.
Common questions
- What format do the page numbers use?
- Each page shows its position and the total page count, such as 1 / 8 and 2 / 8. Numbering starts at 1 on the first page. Custom starting numbers and Roman numerals are not available.
- Where can I place the page numbers?
- Numbers appear at the bottom right. The position of this automatic numbering is fixed. Check the exported preview to ensure it does not cover existing content.
- Will this replace page numbers already in the PDF?
- No. The tool adds new numbers over the existing page. It cannot detect, erase or replace old numbering. Check that your document has enough space before downloading the result.
