Add a missing detail before you share a document
Place a reference number in a free corner or add short notes on several pages. Click directly on the page to place each text item, then drag it where you need it. Select an addition to change its text, color or size before exporting.
Common questions
- How do I type on a PDF?
- Choose your PDF and select a page thumbnail. Choose Text, enter your wording and click the page to place it. Drag it into position; repeat for more text items or pages. Export, check the result preview and download the PDF.
- Can I edit or delete text already in the PDF?
- This tool adds new text over the page. It cannot rewrite existing paragraphs, erase words or replace images. Covering existing text does not securely remove it; use a dedicated redaction tool for confidential content.
- What text can I add?
- Each text item can contain one line of up to 200 characters. Add separate items for additional lines. The font supports Latin letters, numbers and common punctuation. Unsupported characters or text that does not fit produce an error. For supported PDF forms, switch to Fill form to enter values in the original text fields and checkboxes; those fields stay interactive in the downloaded copy.
