Follow one order through your ERP

Connect order entry, inventory and invoicing while showing where people review information and where systems connect.

Capri Video · Updated · 1 min read

ERP module names only tell part of the story. Follow one fictional order across the product so buyers can see how the modules connect, who handles each stage and where the information goes.

Carry the order number through the story

Start with order entry and show only confirmed steps through inventory handling and invoicing. Keep the same order identifier visible. Make required review points explicit rather than animating every transition as automatic. Show external systems only when the described connection is actually supported.

Prepare a consistent demo

Use demo screens, an approved process map and a list of the roles and modules involved in the order.

Use fictional demo data and record the screens and product version shown. Check who acts in each scene and what the screen actually confirms.

Try it before the next demo

Show it before a detailed product or industry demo. Ask where the order information starts and who acts next. If viewers recall only module names, make the transitions clearer. Flag anything that depends on configuration so buyers know which questions to raise about their own setup.
